In the U.S., the refurbished models are discounted by $20 compared to brand new, with the 64GB model with Wi-Fi priced at $109 and the 128GB model with Wi-Fi and Ethernet priced at $129. The refurbished third-generation Apple TV 4K comes with the Siri Remote with a USB-C port, power cord, and documentation inside a new plain white box.

Apple says all of its refurbished products are functionally tested, inspected, and cleaned, and they are eligible for AppleCare+ coverage.

The third-generation Apple TV 4K features the A15 Bionic chip, HDR10+ support, a thinner and lighter design, increased RAM, and more. Note that this Apple TV model ships without a USB-C charging cable in the box for the Siri Remote, except in Brazil, so you will need to purchase a cable separately if you do not have one.

I've been so happy with my 2022 Apple TV. Yeah, these things cost more than most streaming boxes, but the experience is so much better, and also way better than the software built into most TVs.

I legit *TRIED* to use the built in TV software on my new Samsung but within a few hours I came right back to Apple TV.

Is this even worth it for a $20 discount? Personally, I'd rather buy new for the additional cost.
In all my experience with Apple for 20+ years, refurb is as good as new when purchased from Apple. I've never been let down when opting to save the 10%-15%.

$20 could buy you a meal or two.*

*well, in 2023, maybe a few crackers and a water.

They so rarely go on sale new. Costco had them on sale a few weeks ago, but were out of stock almost immediately and then the day after they went off sale they came back in stock. What a coincidence! ;)
Ahhh, recalling an old joke...

Customer walks into meat shop seeking ribeyes.

"$14.99 each" says shopkeeper.

"Your competitor up the street has them for $12.99, but they are out of stock."

"When I'm out of stock, my ribeyes are 3 for a dollar."
